WILLIAM A. GRAHAM ARTIST EMERGENCY FUND

APPLICATION PROCESS AND REVIEW

This Fund is limited to visual artists who live in the greater Houston area.  This includes painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, filmmakers, videographers and installation artists.  We do not fund personal debt, legal fees, unemployment or art projects.

Please print and fill out the form and mail to PO Box 7308, Houston, TX 77248-7308.  Include your CV and documentation of the emergency. If for medical reasons or other circumstances, it is not possible for the applicant to present their own case, applications can be made on their behalf.

Requests for funding are reviewed and processed by a rotating committee of the board. As an all volunteer nonprofit organization, the Fund endeavors to respond in a timely manner to grant requests from qualified applicants.

Please note:  Documentation related to your emergency (such as doctors’ letters, hospital bill receipts, photographic evidence) and to your artistic credentials (such as slides or photos of your work) may be requested by the review committee.
